Vero Beach, Florida – April 2, 2018 – For the past 10 years, Beachland Cleaning Service, a commercial cleaning company and residential since 1979, has been teamed up with Cleaning For A Reason, an international nonprofit serving women with cancer.
“Cleaning For A Reason has given us the opportunity to make a difference for over 70 women battling cancer since we partnered with them in 2008,” said owner Tom Heveron of Beachland Cleaning Service. “Our entire staff is excited to continue donating cleanings to help women in need in our community.”
Beachland Cleaning Service will bring heightened awareness of the cause to the area during National Cleaning For A Reason week, April 18–24. The goal is to help more woman who are battling any type of cancer. During this special week and in celebration of the company’s 10 years with Cleaning For A Reason, Beachland Cleaning has sent out proclamations to local counties and to the Governor of Florida to promote cancer awareness for women in their areas.
“Beachland Cleaning has not been immune to cancer as we have two managers that are survivors and recently lost a long time employee to cancer,” stated Heveron. “All of us understand the difficulties cancer brings to patients and their families.” Heveron’s wife, Carol, is a cancer survivor and his mother passed away from the disease.
“We are proud of our contributions to Cleaning For A Reason,” added Heveron.
“We have been able to obtain a grant for the nonprofit, a celebrity endorsement from Roger Hodgson, award donations, and most of all, perform as a top 100 C4R Cleaning Partner for most cleanings donated.”
Beachland Cleaning Service has agreed to help women battling cancer by cleaning four homes per month for two consecutive months at no charge. The only requirement is that the homes be within the company’s existing service areas of Indian River, St. Lucie, and Martin Counties.
